Brooke Green was a private gated community with several more upscale upper middle-class homes. At least it was before the apocalypse happened and everything went to shit. After the apocalypse what few residents of the community still lived there started taking in more people, filling the vacant homes with life. They fortified the already existing wall around their homes against intrusion and have been trying to live out life ever since as best they can with what they can.
Not everyone they have taken in has been right for the community and some of them turned out to be pretty horrid people. And then they have lost a few along the way to a world full of undead and even worse then that, a world dotted with people who have shed what morals they may have had before this all started.
The Brooke Green community consisted of sixteen upper middle class style homes, all designed on similar floor plans. It once had a HOA known for being rules Nazi's which has been replaced by a council in charge that makes the important decisions by vote. They decide who gets too stay and who is booted out.
The gated community has parking along the street out front of the homes and several designated parking spots elsewhere inside the walls. The walls have been further fortified since the apocalypse started in order to help keep the undead out. The community is cautious and picky but they are a friendly lot, trying to eek out a life in what world was left and cling on to their morals any way they can, looking inward for any humanity they had while hoping to hang onto that for as long as they could in a world that had a way of changing you for the worse.
