The Armory was home to the 82nd Army National Guard’s Armored Regiment, a series of tracked and wheeled vehicles for use in deployment at home and in dire times over seas. It consisted of several tracked vehicles, including a single Abrams tank in an older model, a single Stryker armored personnel carrier and two older model M113 armored carriers. Other vehicles include a few army trucks and several Humvees of various designs. The Abrams tank and one of the M113s are kept at the Compound and used both to instill fear and for protection.

The armory fell when the shit hit the fan and was left abandoned as the Oregon National Guard fell to the undead onslaught. Controlling the undead was hard enough, but having to control humanity too made the job twice as hard.
With the National Guard gone the armory was ripe for the taking. Antonio and his band of mercenaries, former soldiers, and miscreants took over the armory and use it as a satellite outpost of their main prison compound.
They have used it and the vehicles located in the armory to topple other start up communities and take what they feel is rightfully theirs through an act of domination.
The armory itself consists of a larger main building with all of the staff offices and other rooms, a smaller satellite building with several bunk beds, a shower facility and other rooms and then a building for working on the vehicles as well as a large gravel lot where the vehicles are stored. There is a metal overhang where some of the vehicles are stored out of the weather.
The entire place is surrounded by a chain link fence topped in razor wire that has been reinforced with metal siding and stacks of HESCO barriers. The HESCO barriers have been stacked on top of each other and filled with dirt, providing protection against both zombies and people. Metal scaffolding has been used to erect platforms along the fencing and HESCO barriers so that intruders and zombies can be assaulted from the protection of the compound and from a higher vantage point. Several zombies hang out front of the main entrance from an erected gallows, struggling and fighting against their chains. Several more zombies are chained to the outside fencing, acting as yet another barrier to entry by any means other then the front gate. The armory sits just down the road several miles from the prison but close enough to be within quick reach.
