Shambler - As they've come to be called by some. A moniker among many: Shambler, Rot, Creeper, Biter, Zombie and to some just Holy Shit. Either way they lumber along, typically only excited in bursts of sudden blood lust, their brain capacity just a hair above being able to think at all. What brain capacity they ever had seems to be just about as diminished as their rotted and in some cases still rotting appearance. They existed in the hundreds of millions if not billions at this point, the earth covered in them. No country or continent was saved from the zombie plague, turning swathes of humanity into the Walking Dead.
It has been noted by some that they seem to be more irritated and more prone to irate bouts of blood lust the longer they've gone without feeding. They will not feed on each other however, longing for human flesh, craving the sustenance of human muscle and organs. Very little is understood about them and those who try usually end up dead.
